New Wound Center & Surgical Services Building at Bronson South Haven begins construction.

SOUTH HAVEN, MI – The new 4,500 SF Bronson Wound & Surgical Services Building is located adjacent to the Bronson South Haven Replacement Hospital designed by M&CA. It accommodates the growing need for wound care and surgical services in Van Buren County. The facility offers a state-of-the-art healing environment, promotes a creative care environment and door to door access for wound patients with mobility issues.

The planning team envisioned a program consisting of four exam rooms, a large hyperbaric treatment room with two chambers, increased support space for staff and dedicated Surgical Services offices. The main entrance is accessible from the new hospital’s main drive off of Blue Star Highway with adjacent parking for ease of access. Patients arriving by ambulance will enter the building through a discrete entrance with immediate access to care areas.

In an effort to establish an overall Bronson South Haven campus aesthetic, the exterior building materials and interior finishes are complementary to the new hospital and the existing Wellness Center.
