Holland Hospital Saugatuck Medical Office Building Opens

SAUGATUCK, MI – Holland Hospital is expanding its services with a new Medical Office Building, aimed at enhancing healthcare access for surrounding communities. The Hospital has served West Michigan for more than 100 years with facilities in Holland, Zeeland, Grand Haven, Douglas, and South Haven. The new Medical Office Building serves the advanced health care needs of residents from the Saugatuck, Douglas, Fennville, Pullman, and Hamilton areas as well as all of Allegan County.

The 16,940-square-foot medical building, strategically located off Blue Star Highway will cater to 28,000 patients annually. Focusing on patient convenience, the facility will provide a range of service including primary care, lab, expanded radiology services (x-ray, echo cardiograms and ultrasounds), expedited lab services, and space for exercise and recovery for physical therapy and rehabilitation. The Family Medicine office will support up to seven providers seeing patients daily providing increased access to convenient same/ next day appointments, walk-in and virtual care. Future growth plans for the facility include additional specialties such as endocrinology, gastroenterology, general surgery, neurology, rheumatology, and urology.

The design of the new Saugatuck Medical Office Building harmonizes with its wooded surroundings, creating a highly recognizable structure. The exterior materials were selected to reinforce the presence of Holland Hospital’s main campus in Holland, MI, while also complementing the rich character of Saugatuck. Inside, the finishes incorporate warm tones and nature-inspired colors that reflect the scenic waterways and grassy dunes of the area, providing a comforting atmosphere for both users and staff.
