North Entrance Renovations under construction at Edward Hospital.

NAPERVILLE, IL—This project is phased construction designed to alleviate traffic congestion and enable improved patient drop-off and discharge at the existing main entry. The modifications include revisions to the road system to separate the entrance/exit traffic to the north entry loop, create a new bypass lane dedicated for valet use, and provide five new parking spaces to facilitate valet and small delivery vehicles. Three new canopies will be added to provide continuous cover and an increase in overall length for patient and visitor activity. A new 2,500 sf expanded vestibule and lobby facilitate the use of the expanded drop off/pickup zone by providing additional entrances serving both the existing facility and a planned future addition. Construction is scheduled to complete October 2019
