A new three level addition and renovation provides for a new emergency department to accommodate 72,000 annual visits.
Based on a concept of multiple pods of care, the design allows for expansion and contraction of staff through periods of fluctuating patient demand and a distinct pediatric unit with its own waiting and nautical design theme.
The addition provides 24,000 new square feet and 21,500 square feet of renovation which includes a surgical suite, three additional operating rooms and hospital support.
